Katie is a Registered Dietitian with an MSc in Nutrition and Dietetics and 8 years of clinical experience in both the private and public sectors. She has specialised in sports and exercise nutrition and also qualified as a certified NCSF Personal Trainer. With a wealth of experience in adult weight management, sports performance, infertility and IBS; Katie is passionate and dedicated to helping clients implement realistic, individualised and therefore, sustainable lifestyle interventions and end the vicious cycle of yo-yo dieting.
With a keen interest in CBT and behaviour change, Katie appreciates there is more to habit change then just having the nutritional knowledge.
In 2016, Katie created an Instagram account called @pearsandalmonds to document her own food diary to help keep herself accountable before getting married, and to share nutrition and activity tips with whoever would listen….she’s been there, done that and has the T-shirt. A normal, down to earth 30 something, now trying to help support others in their quest to end trend dieting.
